Abby Miller

Hello, my name is Abby Miller. If you are expecting a little addition to your family, congratulations! I love having adventures with my husband and little boy. Living in Lincoln City, we get to go on beautiful hikes, play on the beach, take bike rides, and work outside in our yard. I love my family!

I first got immersed into the world of midwifery in 2004. I went through a mission medic program that was taught by Vicki Penwell, a midwife who has several free clinics in the Philippines. She was also teaching a midwife program at the same time so we had many classes together. After training in the US, we went over to the Philippines for four mouths where we helped in the clinics with the midwives and hiked into rural villages. What an experience that was!

After getting that small taste of being a part of helping to bring babies into this world, I knew I was interested in doing more. In the following years, I worked as a CNA in a hospital and started taking pre-nursing classes. Recently, I took a doula course. Now I have the privilege of working with Cindy as her assistant. I love it! It is such a blessing to see new little lives come into the world. I look forward to meeting you and your sweet little baby!
