The Birth Center

The Birth Center is located on the property of the Midwife, Cynthia Luxford. It is in fact under the same roof that she lives under. It is a small, cozy and very homey environment – hence the name,

Home Sweet Home Birth.

The Birth Center is fully licensed and accredited by the state of Oregon as a Freestanding Birth center.

Some of the amenities include:

* A full kitchen for the birthing family to use.

* A continuous gas hot water heater so you will never run out of hot water.

* Two bathrooms, one for staff and family and the other for the birthing mom.

* Separate, private entrance.

* Big deep tub for laboring and/or birthing.

* Beautiful décor inside and out.

* A twenty acre farm and garden to stroll in and large areas for children to play

*Quiet, country surroundings.

The center is staffed by senior midwife Cynthia Luxford and one assistant midwife.
